Personalized Planning and Clinical Care
Examination and Assessment
The teeth, supporting tissues, missing-tooth areas, and bite are assessed. Digital scans and cone-beam CT may be used when indicated to evaluate anatomy and plan appropriate removable prosthetic options.
Digital Model Analysis
Records from the initial assessment are used to analyze the teeth and digital model and plan support and bite. Tooth preparation, an intraoral scan, or a conventional impression may be completed as appropriate. Depending on the appliance, fabrication may include 3D printing or computer-aided milling. Framework and wax try-ins are used to assess fit, appearance, and bite before completion.
Completing Treatment
The removable denture is fitted and adjusted to restore function and appearance. Adaptation may require additional visits, and comfort, fit, and bite are monitored.
